Goa State Illness Assistance Society provides financial assistance to the extent of Rs. 1.50 lakhs per illness to patient below poverty line as prescribed below, for availing super facility which is not available in the state Government Hospitals. 

The patient can avail the super specialties only in the recognized hospitals under the Scheme and the patient should obtain the letter of authority from the Member Secretary, Goa State illness Assistance Society (DHS) before proceeding for the treatment.

(i). Rural Families limit raised upto Rs. 25,000- per annum with effect from 29/5/2008.

(ii) Urban Families limit raised upto Rs. 60,000/- per annum with effect from 29/5/2008.
